We want to meet other parents, siblings, and young (under13) children who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. My 10 year old son, Samson, asks me every day when he can meet other children who will understand him. So, here we are, calling those who have been bullied and felt like no one else is like you and no one will ever understand you (except maybe your mom). And moms and dads - you won't have to hear those words "but he looks so normal - what is wrong with him?" or hear your childs heartbreak after being laughed at or made fun of. Actually, it would be great to have a playmate with AS for Samson who happens to have a 7 year old brother (like Samson's brother, Jack) with out the diagnosis. Siblings have to deal with a lot without a lot of acknowledgment of their patience and tolerance.
So - any familys need some support like we do?
