It is a good way to make friends in a non-threatening way. Everyone is casual and there is never any pressure to participate in anything you are not comfortable with. Also, there are usually a couple of different activities going on simultaneously so that you can choose to do what you like to do.

I would recommend this group to those who maybe on the spectrum, but also to those with unique talents!

If you want to meet other young adults with AS and make some new friends you should come to our gatherings. We always have snacks, video and board games to play as well as an area for those that just want to chat.

This is a group of accepting and helpful individuals looking to discover their potential and seeking connection with others through these meetups. If you need a group to feel like you belong, this is the group. These guys are so welcoming and friendly. They want everyone to feel accepted and understand that we are all in the same boat.

If you are on the spectrum, this is a good place to go for acceptance.

  •  I think that if you are adult with autism, you need to feel that you are not alone.

  •  If you're a NT, you'll feel very much out of place. If you're an Aspie, you can relax because you're with your own kind. If you're not used to people understanding you without having to put on a NT facade, this group will be refreshing for you. There's something wonderfully peaceful about not having to worry about being judged for being yourself.
