Our next meeting:
The Tulsa Asperger's Syndrome June Meeting
I don't mean to pull the "leadership rug" out from anyone. 'Just merely trying to get the ball rolling here. I do have one idea for a "first meeting" place: we could reserve a meeting room at one of the Tulsa County libraries. I think this might be preferable as to help attenuate sources of sensory overload (not noisy like a restaurant). Read more

"Welcome aboard. 'Glad to hear that you are interested. I hope you are not too worried about your kid. With an abundance of educational material and soul-crushing discipline he will likely be considered smart as Hell. As far as the downside of AS, the only major disability is not fitting in with mainstream American society. As an ANTH graduate, I can assure you that this is like being Keanu Reeves in the Matrix: dodging many (stupid) bullets."
-
