I keep reading that many people with Aspergers, have an Aspie accent. What is this, and what does it sound like?

I have Asperger's Syndrome and I have a "Scottish accent" (because I'm Scottish).

I think what you're referring to is people with Asperger's speaking in monotone, but obviously they will still have their own national accent (I speak in monotone too).

I don't think I can adequately describe monotone to you. The definition of this is a succession of sounds or words uttered in a single tone of voice.

I also speak in a monotone, sometimes in a low pitch, which some people say makes me sound angry, and sometimes in a high pitch, which gives me a less than desirable sound...sometimes, I also speak with a low rumble...Asperger's really does a number on my voice...
