A place where those with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can form social and support networks by connecting on line and meeting up on a regular basis. While anyone can join this group, this forum is intended for adults and families with children/teens who cope with AS and ASD every day.
The Victoria Autism-Asperger Meetup Group is a group for people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome, and their families and friends, to get together to meet other people on the autism spectrum, talk, eat and make friends. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to a meeting, and friends and family members are welcome to attend by themselves. I decided to start this group so that people with autism spectrum disorder in the Nanaimo Regional District might be able to better connect with each other.
