This is a group for anyone with young girls with aspergers that have so much to share with others but seem unable to effectively do so. It would be great to connect with parents and see if we can help our daughters find lasting friendships.
I have an 8 1/2 year old son with Aspergers. Though he loves video games and Legos, he would love to make friends to play with. We are up for anything fun!

Do you have an "aspie" girl - a daughter with aspergers/HFA - between the ages of 12-14 near the Triangle NC? Do you have challenges finding play dates for your daughter? Is it hard for your daughter to find and keep friends? Do you wish to talk to other parents that are raising aspie girls for support and sharing? There seems to be so much available for boys with HFA/Aspergers, but if you have a girl, then you know - well, it's just different!! Honestly, is there any more awkward age for girls …

If ever a set of parents needed pulling back from the brink of madness, it's us! Let's get together to laugh, cry, share, nurture and possibly do stand-up comedy-honestly we probably have s …

Since these marriages often short change and short circuit the NT spouse/partner it is necessary for these individuals to find the courage and support to make a decision to leave and seek healing or to stay. The Autism Society, the mental/medical health, and legal professions tend to ignore the legitimate needs of those suffering from years of neglect and abuse from an ASpie spouse. We striv …
